🎨 How to color it

Color the bottom pumpkin deep orange, the winking middle pumpkin golden yellow, the top pumpkin bright tangerine, and the leaves in red, brown, and olive green. Use chunky crayons or markers to fill the big pumpkin sections first, then trace the curly vines slowly with a green pencil. For a funny twist, make the spiral eyes on the bottom pumpkin purple and blue, like it just saw something dizzy and delightful.

The story behind this coloring page

Pipkin Joins the Stack — Under the straw-sweet moon, Pipkin tapped a seed shell with two acorn sticks. Tak-tik, tak-tik! Read the full story →

Under the straw-sweet moon, Pipkin tapped a seed shell with two acorn sticks. Tak-tik, tak-tik! He wanted the loudest harvest beat in the pumpkin patch, so he marched past crunchy leaves and sleepy vines.

Three pumpkins suddenly rolled together and rose into a tower, grin over grin over grin. “Play up here!” called the winking one. Pipkin climbed a curly vine, and every tap made leaves spin like tiny orange boats. Then the surprise answered back: the pumpkins were hollow drums, each with its own boom, bonk, and bumble. Pipkin laughed, right where the patch was loudest. Next time you see those three grins, can you hear his tak-tik starting again?
