🎨 How to color it

Give the astronaut’s suit a pearl white base with teal shadows, the boxy camera a burnished copper, and the ringed planets soft lavender and apricot. Use sharp pencils and color one patterned panel at a time, letting the bold suit outline separate the tiny paisleys, scales, dots, and feathered shapes. Try a dark indigo-to-violet glow inside the helmet visor so the little planets and comets feel suspended behind glass.

The story behind this coloring page

Rune’s Camera Game — Every cycle, Rune crossed the ornament drift and photographed nothing: not the ringed moons, not the lace-bright suns, not the slow galaxies curling like ink in water. Read the full story →

Every cycle, Rune crossed the ornament drift and photographed nothing: not the ringed moons, not the lace-bright suns, not the slow galaxies curling like ink in water. He only played the new game he had invented, framing a view and refusing to press the shutter until the silence felt like a reply.

One cycle, the camera warmed against his gloves before he chose a frame. Because of that, Rune held still; because of that stillness, the drift’s curls and craters eased into the same secret shapes stitched across his suit. A soft click sounded by itself, small as a seed tapping glass. He did not move. The dark beyond the visor smelled faintly of cold metal and dust, and every planet seemed to have saved him a place.

Finally, Rune lowered the camera, not to leave, but to keep playing. The next frame was already waiting: lace-bright suns, slow galaxies, and the silence answering back.
