🎨 How to color it

Try a cherry red uniform and bow for the cheerleader, honey brown fur for the bear mascot, royal blue megaphones, and gold stars on the shirt and confetti. Use sharp colored pencils for the pleated skirt, pom-pom strips, and tiny crowd shapes, then switch to broader marker strokes on the bear’s shirt and banner. For extra pep, make the two megaphones different shades of blue and add a soft sunset gradient behind the bleachers.

Every afternoon, Quinn counted megaphones, shook out pom-poms, and tested the crowd tunnel behind the old bleachers. She wanted the first rally of the season to boom so loudly that the new students would know where they belonged. The air smelled like popcorn salt and sun-warmed paint, and her sneakers slapped the concrete: tap, tap, race.

Until one day, her last count echoed back with a growl. Because of that, Quinn ducked under Row Seven and found a trapdoor no one had noticed beneath a curled poster. Because of that, the team mascot, Bruno Bear, squeezed in after her, and together they discovered a tiny forgotten sound booth with one dusty button labeled ROAR.

“Press it with me,” Quinn whispered. When they did, the stands rumbled with a bright, friendly cheer that made every seat vibrate. The crowd leaped up as if the bleachers had joined the squad. Next time you spot Quinn beside Bruno, see if you can guess where the biggest tap, tap, race came from.
