🎨 How to color it

Color the rainbow bands red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple, then make the two clover flowers bright green and the center blossom sunny pink. Use chunky crayons or broad markers for the big rainbow stripes and heart-shaped petals, and don’t worry if little hands cross the thick lines. For a fun twist, turn the small floating circles into gold sparkle dots, like the rainbow just shook off treasure.

Every day, Bex tapped a plain white pebble beside the clover stems and waited for the rainbow bells: ping red, pong yellow, boom blue. She wanted to dash through the arch before the dew dried, but the pebble stayed cold in her leaf pocket.

Until one day, the bells rang backward—boom, pong, ping! Because of that, Bex raced the wrong way and the soft grass whooshed under her feet. Because of THAT, she heard tiny gold dots pop-pop-popping from the air.

“Wait for green,” whispered the pebble, warm at last. Bex stopped, breathed the sweet clover smell, and the middle bell rang bright. Finally, she sprang through the arch just as sparkles tumbled down. Next time you spot the tiny circles, can you guess which one popped first?
