🎨 How to color it

Color Santa’s suit cherry red, his fluffy beard and hat trim soft white, the North Pole sign candy-cane striped, and the gift bows bright green. Use chunky crayons or markers for the big coat, beard, and trees, and don’t worry if little hands color over the snowflake lines. For a secret sparkle, make one snowflake pale blue and give the round globe on the sign a golden glow.

The story behind this coloring page

The Wave for No One — Before the last bell, Luca rubbed the round globe on the North Pole sign until it squeaked, squeak-squeak, but no light came. Read the full story →

Before the last bell, Luca rubbed the round globe on the North Pole sign until it squeaked, squeak-squeak, but no light came. He needed a moon-pearl from Lantern Hill, so he left the warm cocoa tent and stepped into snow that crunched like crackers.

Halfway there, a tiny snowflake whispered, “Not for the sign.” It led him to a dark little cabin where one window shivered in the wind. Luca gave up his red mitten to stuff the crack, then tucked the moon-pearl on the sill. Warm yellow light bloomed. Back at the sign, the globe stayed dim, but Luca waved anyway. If you find his bare hand’s mitten mate, you’ll know who got warm before the last bell.
