🎨 How to color it

Color Santa’s hat and bow ruby red, his wreath frame pine green, the holly berries cranberry, and the little hanging star sunny yellow. Use chunky crayons or markers for the big round wreath and beard shapes, then switch to a sharper crayon tip for the tiny berries and star. Try giving Santa’s cheeks two soft pink circles so his grin looks extra merry inside the green wreath.

The story behind this coloring page

Jovie’s Giggle Wreath — Every day, Jovie tugged one ribbon, tapped one berry, and whispered, “Giggle, wreath!” She had challenged herself to make the grand wreath laugh before supper, but it only smelled like pine and behaved politely. Read the full story →

Every day, Jovie tugged one ribbon, tapped one berry, and whispered, “Giggle, wreath!” She had challenged herself to make the grand wreath laugh before supper, but it only smelled like pine and behaved politely.

Until one day, she tied a star charm too close to Santa’s hat tassel. Because of that, the tassel tickled his nose. “Ah-ah-choo!” Santa sneezed, and the bow bounced boing-boing-boing. Because of that, the holly berries wobbled like tiny red drums, and every helper in the wreath hall began to laugh.

Jovie laughed so hard she had to share it, so she hung the giggle wreath where everyone passed by. If you spot the dangling star under the bow, you’ll know exactly where the boing began.
