🎨 How to color it

Color the rider’s helmet bright red, the dirt bike electric blue, the ramp sandy tan, and the bushes deep green. Use sharp colored pencils for the tire treads, wheel spokes, and zigzag jersey details, then switch to broader strokes on the ramp and open sky. Try a pale blue-to-white fade behind the airborne bike so the jump feels extra high.

The story behind this coloring page

Past the last fence, where the sage smelled sharp and dusty, Tobin pushed his dirt bike toward the only straight trail in the scrubland. He wanted one clean jump before supper, just one, with nobody timing him but the buzzing grasshoppers. Then the hill at the end of the track cleared its throat.

“Not straight,” it rumbled, soft as stones in a pocket. Tobin froze with his boots in the sand. The hill lifted a ramp-shaped shoulder and whispered a secret: every rider who went straight kept going until they missed home. So Tobin rode up, flew over the hush of bushes, and turned his front wheel before landing, carving a bend back toward the warm lights.

Ever since, dirt-bike trails curl and loop instead of running away. They remember Tobin’s first turn, the one that said, without saying it, I belong here. Next time you spot a winding track under a flying bike, see if you can find where the trail is already trying to bring him home.
