🎨 How to color it

Color the baby dragon mint green, the crescent moon buttery yellow, the puffy cloud pale blue, and the big corner stars lavender. Use chunky crayons for the dragon’s round belly bands and the wide moon, and don’t worry if little hands color past the bold outlines. Try making the tiny stars on the moon alternate pink and orange so they look like sleepy night-lights.

High in the soft sky cradle, Luma pressed one toe to the cool moon curve. She wanted to play her new game, Moon-Slide, but the drop made her tummy feel fizzy. The cloud pillow above smelled like rain and vanilla. “Just one swoosh,” she whispered.

Luma slid. Swoooo! Her tiny claws tickled the moon, and sparks popped where she held on. Plink, plink, plink—each spark became a little star and stuck to the silver curve like a button. Luma laughed, brave and shaky at the same time.

Ever since that first small swoosh, crescent moons have carried little stars so baby sky dragons know where to place their paws. Can you find Luma’s star-buttons on the cool moon curve?
