🎨 How to color it

Color the bunny soft cocoa brown, the Santa hat cranberry red with a white pom-pom, the scarf pine green, and the little gift bright gold. Use chunky crayons or markers for the big hat, cheeks, and belly, then switch to a sharper crayon point for the pine needles, holly berries, and scarf stripes. Try making each snowflake a different icy blue, as if the bunny has wandered through a tiny secret snow shower.

Under the pine nook, Rowan tucked a tiny box under his paws and whispered, “Snowflake Switch!” His new game was simple: follow the first snowflake that spun twice, then swap something small for whatever secret it showed.

A snowflake twirled by the holly, bright as sugar. Rowan stepped out from the warm needles. Crunch, crunch. Cold nipped his toes. The flake stopped beside a low branch where a silver thread was tangled. Rowan pulled one fringe from his scarf to tie it loose, and the branch gave a soft jingle.

Inside the box, he found not candy, but a bell no bigger than a berry. “I’ll bring you home,” he said. Back at the pine nook, the bell rang ding-ding whenever snow was near. Next time you see the little present in Rowan’s paws, can you guess which snowflake showed him the way?
