🎨 How to color it

Try leaf green for the triceratops face, sunny yellow for the three horns, and pumpkin orange for each big scallop on the frill. For little hands, use chunky crayons and fill the large face first, then dab color into the separate frill sections. Add a tiny pink blush beside that wide smile if your child wants the dinosaur to look extra proud.

Beside the hush-hush sea, Nori patted wet clay with two careful feet. Pat, pat, smooth. She made one little round button and pressed it with her horn.

“Mine,” whispered Nori. It smelled like rain and shells.

The tide pool blinked. In the water, the button looked like a tiny moon. Nori lifted her head high, frill wide and warm. The sea had made a moon too, but Nori had made this one. Next time you see her proud smile, can you spot the little moon feeling inside it?
