Under the tickly grass, Pip tucked his special carrot under one paw and hopped past the tall daisy. The carrot had three little nibbled lines, and Pip used them like a map. “This way!” he squeaked, bouncing between leaves that smelled wet and sweet. Bees buzzed bzzz-bzzz, and poppies waved like flags.
He hopped faster, around pebble hills and curly vines, until the carrot’s leafy top brushed his nose. Then Pip saw the surprise: every flower had been pointing too. The daisy leaned left, the poppy nodded right, and the tiny blooms made a path to the Meadow March. Pip lifted his carrot high, exactly where he belonged—can you spot the nibbled lines that led him past the tall daisy?
