At the edge of the old orchard, under a warm blanket of leaves, Zeno tapped three acorns in a row. His challenge was simple: climb the round lookout hill and give one clear howl before the sun-moon slipped behind the clouds. The grass felt wet on his paws, and the pine needles made a shh-shh sound as he passed. Halfway up, a burr caught his tail. He had to stop, tug, and leave one acorn behind.
At the top, the air smelled like cold apples. Zeno lifted his nose and howled, “Aroooo!” The big bright sun-moon blinked through its rays, and every little star around it answered with a tiny ping. Zeno ran home with no acorn prize, but with a secret song bubbling in his chest. He woke the den and shared it until everyone was laughing-howl loud. Can you find the bright circle that heard Zeno’s first aroooo?
