🎨 How to color it

Color the chick buttery yellow, her polka-dot bow strawberry pink, the floating hearts cherry red, and the big flowers sunny orange. Use chunky crayons or markers for the chick’s round body and wide wings, saving the bow dots and shiny eyes for a smaller crayon tip. Try making the leaves two different greens so they look like they are swirling around her happy hop.

The story behind this coloring page

Zuzu’s Button Goes Whoosh — Every day, Zuzu tucked a tiny blue button under her bow and peeped a cheer down Petal Lane. Read the full story →

Every day, Zuzu tucked a tiny blue button under her bow and peeped a cheer down Petal Lane. Click-click went the button when she tapped it, and every beetle, snail, and sparrow knew it meant, “Come share the fun!”

Until one day, a warm whoosh of wind popped the button free. Because of that, Zuzu chased it past spicy marigolds and flapping leaves. Because of THAT, the snails rang acorn caps, the beetles drummed daisies, and the sparrows zipped after her. “Follow the click!” Zuzu cried. At last, the button landed in a flower cup, louder than ever. Zuzu tapped it once, and joy bounced everywhere—can you spot the little hearts that popped up when Petal Lane heard the click-click again?
