🎨 How to color it

Color the T. rex mossy green, the belly pale cream, the back spikes olive, the rock warm gray, and the sun golden yellow. Use chunky crayons or broad markers for the dinosaur’s big body and the open sky, then switch to a sharper crayon point for the teeth, claws, and rock cracks. Try making each sun ray a little brighter near the circle, as if the roar is shaking sunshine across the page.

Every day, Dax climbed the flat highland rock to stomp three times before lunch. The stone felt warm under his toes, and the grass hissed in the wind. He wanted a new game, so he named one: Sun-Race! “Catch the brightest ray!” he roared.

Until one day, the brightest ray slid behind a fat cloud. Because of that, Dax leaped to a taller crack in the rock. Because of THAT, his tail flicked a pebble, the pebble pinged a hidden hollow, and the hollow boomed back like thunder. Dax opened his jaws and gave one giant race-roar. The cloud wobbled away, the sun ray landed on his nose, and if you spot that high rock, you can almost hear the pebble ping again.
