🎨 How to color it

Color the rocket body bright red, the round window sky blue, the flames orange and yellow, and the stars golden. Use chunky crayons for the big rocket parts, and don’t worry if little hands color over the thick black lines. For a fun secret touch, make each side fin a different color so the rocket looks handmade and proud.

Under the table fort, Pip patted a cardboard rocket. Tap, tap. It needed one thing: a secret star sticker. Pip tiptoed out to the craft box, where paper smelled dusty and glue went squish.

No stars! Pip found shiny foil, but traded the last raisin button to the tape roll—rip! “Shh, rocket,” Pip whispered. Back in the fort, Pip stuck the crinkly star by the round window. Blast-off went whoosh, whoosh! Next time you see those stars outside the rocket, can you spot the one Pip made by hand?
