🎨 How to color it

Give the diplodocus a soft mint green, the big heart balloons a rosy pink, and the two daisy-like flowers sunny yellow centers with white petals. Use chunky crayons for the wide belly, balloons, and flower petals, and don’t worry if little hands color over the thick black lines. For a playful twist, make every tiny heart a different candy color while keeping the dinosaur’s smile bright and simple.

In the blossom nook, Quinby bent soft vines into heart hats. Squish, twist, pat-pat! He wanted to make three all by himself: one for his head, one for his tail, and one silly hat for a daisy.

The hats would not sit still. They bobbed. They bounced. One popped up behind his neck like a pink moon. “Stay, hat!” Quinby giggled.

Then the daisies leaned close and sniffed. Sniff-sniff! The heart hats were not hats to them. They were balloon flowers!

Quinby stood tall, cheeks warm with pride. Next time you see the big hearts around him, can you find the one a daisy picked first?
