Every evening, Cricket carried one pinecone home before the moon peeked over the spruce thicket. But he had set himself a new challenge: three pinecones on one twig, no dropping, no nibbling, no sneaky rolling.

“Make way for the Pinecone Parade!” he chirped. At last he reached his cozy doorway with all three cones still dangling. The chickadees bowed, the snow whispered hush-hush, and Cricket knew this silly, spruce-smelling path was exactly his place. Can you spot the three pinecones that made the parade?
