Every evening, Otis sat by the tall night window and tapped his star charm: clink, clink, clink. He had invented a game called “Which Star Says Home?” and he wanted the very first twinkle outside to answer him.
Until one day, fog covered the glass like soft milk. Because of that, Otis put on the big red glasses from the window shelf. Because of THAT, he saw tiny shines all around the room: on the floor, near his paws, even on his nose. “There you are,” he whispered.
