🎨 How to color it

Color the chef cat soft orange, the tall hat bright white with a red band, the mixing bowl sky blue, and the flour and sugar jars warm cream. Use sharp colored pencils for the pantry labels, whisk wires, hanging utensils, and tiled floor so the tiny kitchen details stay clear. Try making the batter a vanilla-to-chocolate swirl, as if the cat’s spoon has just found a secret flavor stripe.

Between the flour shelf and the warm stove, Biscuit tapped his spoon on the rim of the bowl: tink, tink, hush. He had invented a game called Wait-for-the-Wobble. The rule was simple—stir once, count three pantry smells, and only stir again when the batter made a lazy bubble. Butter smelled sunny, sugar smelled like window dust, and the whisk made tiny squeaks against the bowl.

“One… two… almost,” Biscuit whispered. He kept his paws still, though his tail curled like a question mark. The jars watched from their shelves. The pans above him gave soft metal clinks whenever the kitchen pipes hummed. At last, the batter blooped. Biscuit grinned and gave one grand stir, folding the pale swirls over and under.

Then the surprise answered: bloop-bloop from the flour jar, clink-clink from the hanging spoons, tap-tap from the oven knob. The whole pantry had been playing his game, waiting for its turn. Biscuit bowed to his noisy team and stirred again, slow as a secret. If you spot his spoon in the bowl, can you guess which kitchen sound gets the next turn after tink, tink, hush?
