🎨 How to color it

Color the robot cat’s body silver, the chest gear sunny yellow, the antenna ear rings teal, and the scattered stars bright orange. Use broad crayon or marker fills on the round head and simple torso, then switch to a sharper pencil for the little spirals inside the ears. Try making the bubbles pale blue and leaving a white shine spot inside each big eye so the robot cat looks ready to beep awake.

Every day, Rook rolled through Dock Seven, buffing the floor lights until they blinked blue-blue-clean. He wanted one quiet shift with no scorch marks and no “whoops!” from rocket crews. Then, ping! A tiny stardust beetle zipped from an air vent and landed on his chest gear, smelling like hot pennies and birthday candles. “Please don’t explode,” Rook whispered.

The beetle sneezed a sparkle into Rook’s whisker wires. Because of that, every floor light flashed the wrong way—red, green, purple, go! Because of THAT, a mail rocket began to rumble backward toward the snack carts. Rook’s paws clanked. He had never touched the big launch button before. Finally, he snapped his claw hand onto the lever, beeped once, and sent the rocket forward with a whoooosh of warm air. The beetle bowed, leaving a twinkle on his gear. Next time you spot those tiny stars around Rook, can you guess which one sneezed blue-blue-clean?
