🎨 How to color it

Color the shark ocean blue, the curling wave tops seafoam green, the bubbles pale aqua, and the little fish sunny yellow. Use broad crayon strokes on the shark’s big body, then switch to a sharper pencil for the small fish eyes, teeth, and starfish dots. Try making each wave a different blue-green shade so the shark looks like it is racing through a spinning tunnel of water.

Rafa’s Biggest Splash — Every morning, Rafa zipped through the wave tunnel and counted splashes: one, two, three! Read the full story →

Every morning, Rafa zipped through the wave tunnel and counted splashes: one, two, three! His little challenge was to swoop through four curling waves before the foam went fizz-fizz flat. But every day, on wave three, he laughed so hard that bubbles popped out of his nose and he had to start again.

Until one windy morning, the waves rose like rolling blue doors. Because of that, Rafa shot forward faster than a silver spoon. Because of that, three tiny fish tumbled after him, squeaking, “Wait for us!” Their joy made Rafa’s grin stretch wider than a clam shell. He slowed just enough for the fish, the bubbles, and even a bumpy starfish below to join the rush. At last, Rafa swept through the fourth wave with everyone cheering in a fizzy trail. Next time you spot the bubbles around him, see if you can count the splash he shared: one, two, three, four!
