🎨 How to color it

Color the watermelon pop bright pink with black seeds, its rind stripe lime green, the second ice pop orange, and the little hearts sunny yellow. Use chunky crayons or broad markers for the big pops, then switch to a thinner crayon for the tiny flowers, stars, and splash drops around them. Try making every teardrop splash a different cool color—blue, teal, and purple—so the warm watermelon looks extra juicy.

The story behind this coloring page

Della’s Secret Splash Crew — Down the carnival cart ramp zipped Della, a watermelon pop with sticky-cold sides and two speedy sticks. Read the full story →

Down the carnival cart ramp zipped Della, a watermelon pop with sticky-cold sides and two speedy sticks. She wanted the front spot in the sticker parade before the bell went ding-ding-ding. Beside her, an orange ice pop slid along, and the cart smelled like sugar, sunshine, and fresh wooden handles.

Splash shapes popped up behind them—plip! Stars spun, hearts bobbed, and flowers seemed to hop in the warm air. Della leaned into the breeze. “Faster, friends!” she called, though she thought only the orange pop could hear.

Then one splash drop giggled. Inside it was a tiny sticker sprite, waving from where nobody had looked: right in Della’s juicy trail. Soon every drop opened—blue, teal, purple—and a whole crew cheered, “We’ve been riding with you!” Della rolled into the parade laughing, exactly where she belonged, with her secret splash crew shining behind her. Can you spot which splash might giggle next?
