🎨 How to color it

Color the panda’s ears and eye patches soft black, the ice cream scoop strawberry pink, the waffle cone golden brown, and the little stars lemon yellow. Use chunky crayons or markers for the panda’s big round face and belly, then switch to a sharper crayon point for the cone’s crisscross lines and tiny sprinkles. Try making every sprinkle a different bright color, as if the scoop borrowed confetti from the stars.

The story behind this coloring page

Under the roof tiles, the midnight snack bell went ting-ting, and Pippa hurried to the cream cart with her very plain cone. Tucked inside the waffle point was her lucky paper star, folded by her first friend at the cart. She wanted the first scoop before the moon slid behind the chimney. But the scoop-maker frowned. “No sprinkles left,” he whispered, and the air smelled cold and sweet like vanilla snow.

Pippa held her cone close anyway. The paper star warmed with a tiny crinkle-crackle. Then the sky stars leaned down, plink, plink, plink, dropping bright bits onto her scoop. “They know this cone,” Pippa said softly. From that night on, every rooftop scoop got sprinkles only after someone brought a cone that felt like home. If you spot Pippa’s happy face, can you keep the sprinkle star secret too?
