🎨 How to color it

Color the rescue van sky blue, the dog golden brown, the cat soft gray, the bunny pale pink, and the tiny bird sunny yellow. Use chunky crayons for the van’s big side panels and wheels, then switch to a sharpened crayon or pencil for the little paw prints, hearts, and window pets. Try making the sunbeams a very light lemon yellow so the “WE SAVE PETS!” sign still stands out bright and clear.

Under the warm stripey sun, Luma tucked a faded blue ribbon beside her dashboard bell. She wanted to carry it all the way to the hill shelter, because every rescued pet had sniffed it hello. The ribbon smelled like hay, soap bubbles, and puppy fur.

Then a little bird tapped the window. “Which way is home?” it chirped. Luma’s wheels hummed softly. Her ribbon slipped out, flutter-flutter, and landed in the dust. A cat pawed it, a bunny bounced over it, and a pup stepped right through the blue. Tiny paw marks dotted the road behind them.

Luma stopped worrying and followed the marks up the hill. Ever since, animal rescue vans wear paw prints on their sides, so every curious pet knows the way home. Can you find the first brave prints near Luma’s window?
