🎨 How to color it

Color the octopus tangerine orange, the bubbles pale aqua, the seaweed bright green, and the little fish sunny yellow. Use chunky crayons or broad markers for the octopus’s big smooth head and arms, then save a sharper crayon tip for the suction-cup dots. Try making every other arm a slightly lighter orange so the curling tentacles are easy to follow.

Under the soft blue water, Ollie tucked one arm behind a seaweed leaf and tried to say hello. Only a tiny blub came out. The fish flicked past, the coral clicked in the sand, and Ollie wished his voice felt bigger.

Then a pearly shell gave a sleepy hum. Ollie peeked inside. Hidden where nobody looked was a bubble no larger than a pea, trembling with music. “May I try?” whispered Ollie. He blew gently. Blub, blub, bloop! Bubbles rose and popped into a sweet hello, and the reef answered with swishes and wiggles. Ever since, octopuses have sent brave little greetings in bubbles; can you spot Ollie’s first bubble song drifting upward?
