🎨 How to color it

Layer the strawberries in deep ruby and rose red, the veined leaves in moss and sage green, the five-petal blossoms in soft ivory with golden centers, and the curling stems in muted olive. Use sharp pencils for the tiny seeds, narrow vine channels, and nested scrolls, working from the outer rim toward the open center so your hand does not smudge the fine lines. For a secretive art nouveau glow, shade the inner edge of the wreath with pale lavender-gray while keeping the blank center airy and almost luminous.

The story behind this coloring page

Where the Wreath Belongs — In the vine archive, Elian kept the catalog of endings: every curl of stem, every berry notch, every flower that opened after rain. Read the full story →

In the vine archive, Elian kept the catalog of endings: every curl of stem, every berry notch, every flower that opened after rain. One place remained uncrossed, a pale circle where no tendril dared enter, and he wanted its name before the night bell shivered through the leaves. The air smelled of green sap and old paper; above him, the strawberries hung like small red lanterns, each seed catching a pin of dusk.

He searched the obvious places first—the hollow stems, the backs of leaves, the folded cups of blossoms—but found only cool shadows and a beetle’s silver wing. Then a petal brushed his wrist, powder-soft, and left a golden fleck on his sleeve. Under the flower dust, where nobody had thought to look, a script appeared: Leave room for the returning. Elian set the mark at the rim instead of the middle, and the vines curled around the emptiness as if recognizing a doorway. Since then, strawberry wreaths keep an open heart, so every wandering sweetness can find exactly where it belongs.
