🎨 How to color it

Color the seahorse sunny coral, the tall seaweed emerald green, the starfish tangerine, and the scallop shell soft lavender. Use sharp colored pencils for the tiny body spots and tail rings, then fill the bigger seaweed ribbons with smooth crayon strokes. Try making the bubbles pale blue at the edges and white in the middle so they look light and glassy.

The story behind this coloring page

Tavi’s Quiet Gift — Every day, Tavi counted the bubble bells in Sandy Cove: plip, plip, plip. Read the full story →

Every day, Tavi counted the bubble bells in Sandy Cove: plip, plip, plip. He wanted each bell to float past the tall seaweed before sunset, so the sleepy coral would know when to open. Until one day, no bells rose from the scallop shell. The water felt still as glass, and even the starfish did not wiggle its toes.

Because of that, Tavi peeked under the shell’s striped lip, where nobody ever looked. A tiny moon-pearl glowed there, humming softly. Because of THAT, he carried it to the dim coral garden and tucked it under a branch without saying a word. “For you,” he whispered. At sunset, bubbles lifted again—plip, plip, plip—and no one saw Tavi smile behind the seaweed. Next time you find the scallop shell, can you keep his quiet gift a secret?
