🎨 How to color it

Color the smiling star golden yellow, the dotted party hat aqua with coral spots, and the birthday balloons in cherry red, sky blue, and lavender. Use sharp colored pencils for the balloon stars, dots, and letter outlines, then switch to broader strokes for the star’s big open body. Try making the “HAPPY BIRTHDAY” balloon a pale rainbow gradient so the words stay bright and easy to read.

Above the quietest cloud, Wren tucked one warm wish under a spotted party hat and waited for the first guest to arrive. Balloons bobbed on their strings, slick as soap bubbles, and confetti clicked softly against Wren’s points. The biggest balloon carried birthday words across its round face. Wren’s smile kept growing, but the wish felt too large to hold alone.

A tiny voice floated from inside the letter B. “Is there room in that wish for me?” it asked. Wren blinked. The voice belonged to a shy echo, trapped after practicing everyone’s cheers. Wren opened the wish like a window, and the echo tumbled out, bright and ringing. It bounced from balloon to balloon until every star, dot, and streamer seemed to answer.

“Share it louder,” Wren whispered. The echo did, and joy rolled through the sky party in silver loops. If you peek at the biggest balloon, maybe you can guess where the extra wish first learned to sing.
