🎨 How to color it

Layer amber and marigold in the central sunburst, use sapphire and teal for the nested diamonds, and give the ringed medallions touches of violet and smoke gray. She wanted only to finish the silent sun panel before winter shortened the light. So she crossed the windy roof to the locked western store, paid the keeper with that plain little shard, and carried back a sliver of honey glass no larger than a fingernail. At dusk it slipped into place; the panel did not blaze, not at first. Then one patient beam found it, and every angle answered.
