🎨 How to color it

Use soft white for Jesus’ robe, honey brown for the wooden scroll table and ceiling beams, sky blue through the arched window, and leafy green for the tree. The robe and wall have big open spaces, so chunky crayons can make gentle, even color without needing to stay perfect inside every line. Add a pale golden glow around the small cross to make the quiet prayer corner feel warm.

The story behind this coloring page

Before breakfast, Avner cupped one square of sunshine on the chapel floor and invented Sun-Share. He wanted to give the bright square to someone before it slipped away. The room smelled of cedar beams and lamp oil. “Stay, little light,” he whispered.

He slid the shine toward the scroll table with both hands, but it climbed the wall instead. Then Jesus knelt there, quiet as wool, and the sunshine rested on the open scroll, the small cross, and his folded hands. Avner’s joy grew too big for his ribs. He opened the shutters wide, so the tree, clouds, and morning could come in too.

Ever since, chapel windows hold morning first, so glad hearts have light to share. Next time you see that arched window, can you find Avner’s square of sunshine?
