🎨 How to color it

Color the axolotl soft pink, the feathery gills coral, the pebble warm gray, and the water plants bright green. Use chunky crayons for the big round head and body, and don’t worry if little hands color past the bubbles. Add a few blue bubbles and one yellow shine on the pebble to make it feel extra special.

Under the soft pond light, Pip hugged a smooth pebble close. It felt cool, plink-plink, against his tiny toes. He liked its one bright shine.

Tiny bubbles went up. Leaf shadows waved slow. Pip set the pebble down and patted it once. “For you,” he whispered.

Then silver baby moonfish slipped from the plants. The pebble’s shine made a little path for them. Pip smiled and floated beside it, watching his quiet gift glow. Next time you see the shiny pebble, can you find Pip’s secret kindness?
