🎨 How to color it

Color the tugboat sunny yellow, its star decals coral pink, the smokestack puffs soft gray, and the rolling water bright aqua blue. Use chunky crayons or markers for the wide hull and cabin, then slow down for the tiny stars, bubbles, and curved wave lines. Try making the long wake fade from deep blue near the boat to pale blue as it curls away.

The story behind this coloring page

Every evening, Nico nudged along the misty channel, counting puff-puff clouds from his stacks and carrying one silver bottle cap under his seat. He liked how it clicked softly, like a tiny door. Until one day, the cap shone blue-white and rolled toward the rail.

Because of that, Nico turned after it, leaving a curly trail in the dark water. Because of THAT, the channel opened into a place where waves whispered, “Why does the moon follow us?” Nico set the cap on the water, and the moonbeam inside slipped out, bright as a wink. “Oh,” he said. The waves grew quiet, wondering. Next time you see Nico’s curvy wake, can you guess which question he chased?
