🎨 How to color it

Color the big planet turquoise with lemon-yellow stripes, make the round crater silver, and fill the four puffy stars with bright orange. Use chunky crayons or markers for the wide planet bands, and do not worry if little hands color over the bold lines. For a fun space twist, let the tiny circles become candy-colored moons in pink, purple, and green.

Every evening, Pip polished the lemon stripes of Zibble Planet while the tiny moon-bubbles went plink, plink, plop around him. He wanted them to line up neatly before bedtime, so he waited with his soft cloth tucked under one elbow.

Until one day, a giggling star-squid bumped the biggest bubble and sneezed glitter. Because of that, the bubbles bounced into the crater with a hollow bonk. Because of THAT, the crater burped out one perfect silver ring that spun around the planet. Pip blinked, then grinned. “I was saving that spot!” he said. At last, the bubbles settled, the ring shimmered, and if you peek between the puffy stars, you might still hear plink, plink, plop.
