🎨 How to color it

Color the pufferfish lemon yellow, its round spots peachy orange, the coral bright pink, and the tube sponges soft lavender. Use chunky crayons or broad markers for the big round body and cheeks, then switch to a sharper crayon point for the tiny spikes and bubbles. Try making the bubbles pale blue with one white spot left empty, so they look extra shiny around the puffed-up face.

Under the tickly water of Bubble Grotto, Tavi tucked a tiny gray pebble under one fin and puffed his cheeks: poof! He wanted to keep it close until the evening wiggle-song began. The pebble looked plain, but when Tavi tapped it with his tooth, it made a neat little clink. Plip went the bubbles. Clink went the pebble. Tavi’s round belly wobbled with every happy sound.

Soon the seaweed waved left-right-left, the tube sponges hummed ooo-ooo, and the coral curls seemed to giggle in the fizzy light. Then a shrimp wearing a shell hat popped out and whispered, “That’s our missing drum!” Tavi blinked. His lucky pebble was not just lucky; it was the beat that told everyone when to wiggle. So Tavi floated in the middle, cheeks full, pebble clinking, exactly where he belonged. If you spot the round fish among the bubbles, can you hear the plip-clink from Bubble Grotto?
